Coolum Touch Football turned 40 last year and to celebrate Coolum Touch is throwing a huge party on Sunday, October 3 from 11.30 am- 7.30 pm at their new grounds located in Peregian Springs.
To help celebrate being a part of the amazing community that is Coolum-Peregian Touch Football, they’d like to invite all past, present and future Touch Footballers and their families to celebrate 40 years of serving the community at their new home in Peregian Springs and importantly all that passed through their old fields in Coolum.
We’d love to see everyone bring along their old photos, trophies, a comfy chair, the kids and grandkids, and spend the day sharing their stories and smiles.
From 11.30 am the rides and petting zoo will be in action and there will also be ‘Lindsays Food Truck’ selling delicious coffee and burgers. The junior Mums and Dads will have their ‘Cook off’ sweets stall and there will be friendly competitions and a welcome to country at 4 pm.
The afternoon will feature some great Touch action with four exhibition games – Mixed Junior, Mixed Wanna be Deadly, Mixed Legends Over 50’s and Mixed Open games played before a presentation and then all of the NRL grand final action will be shown live on the big screen.
We are looking forward to seeing our entire Touch Family and anyone interested in footy come together and have a great time ensuring our next generation of Touch Footballers have another great 40 years.
