WITH volunteering and community connectedness at the centre of what they do, the Coolum Lions are championing the true spirit of Lions International and once again have helped another local community organisation.

Coolum Lions donated funds to the Coolum Community Native Nursery to pay for sun/work-safe shirts for their volunteers who do planting, propagating and collecting seeds.  The Nursery was established in November 2005 to grow coastal natives and salt-tolerant plant species.  They rely entirely on plant sales to keep our doors open.

Coolum Lions were happy to help such a great community group who do so much for our natural environment.
