The Coolum Football Club are thrilled with their new digital scoreboard which proudly came about via a donation from one of Coolum’s leading Real Estates – North Shore Realty. Principal Noel Mooney said that North Shore had been sponsoring the club for many years. “The club contacted us saying they wanted a digital sign and we were more than happy to help out – we sponsor a lot of clubs in the community and we are in a position where we can give back and we want to give back.” Coolum Football Club Secretary Josh Allen said it was amazing to have local sponsorship. “The club probably wouldn’t be in the position it is without the sponsors – there’s a lot that goes into a club like this and having that financial support is huge and now with this digital scoreboard we won’t have to bribe kids to go and change the numbers – we can do it from the canteen.”
