Coolum and North Shore Coast Care (CNSCC) recently announced record sales of their 2021 Sunshine Coast nature calendar, which went on sale late last year. Calendar committee chair Lutz Kramer stated that the local environmental advocacy group were ever so grateful for the support. “Coolum Community Native Nursery, Wagtail Coffee and Mitre 10 were our top sales supporters and we have sold the highest number of calendars this year, since we started nine years ago.” The calendar is the main fundraiser for CNSCC and is made up of photos donated by local residents featuring local nature photography such as landscapes and animals. The 2022 calendar will be celebrating 10 years and an invitation for submissions will commence later this month.
