ON THE first Monday of the month members of Quota Coolum Beach supply morning tea for clients and volunteers at the Salvation Army rooms at Coolum. The club has been providing this service for a year now and we have been receiving good feedback with clients saying that they look forward to the monthly morning tea provided by Quota Coolum Beach. The Salvos have a food bank available for members of the community who have fallen on hard times and Quota jumped at the opportunity to spend some time with these people. Sometimes they just want a chat, company, and to enjoy a cuppa with some home-baked food. Barb, Vicky and Libby volunteer their time each Monday to distribute the food which is delivered by OzHarvest. Quota would like to thank the volunteers at the Salvation Army Coolum for their service to the community. Thanks for making a difference.
