The local region is being asked to help those who might be doing it tough this Christmas by way of buying either a Christmas cake or pudding and dropping it off at Coolum Beach Realty. Property Manager Melanie Ottaway has signed the local real estate agency up to collect the Christmas dessert items for the Nambour based ‘Urban Angels Community Kitchen’ who will be providing meals to those struggling to make ends meet this festive season. Melanie explained that it would be great if people could buy a pudding or cake when next doing their food shopping at either Coles or Woolworths and then drop the item off at their agency, which is conveniently located at 11/21 Birtwill St in Coolum. The Lions who make one of the best Christmas cakes were only too happy to share the community spirit of giving with Coolum Lions President Rob Snels not hesitating to pass on a box of 12 delicious Lions Christmas Cakes for the appeal.
