The Tinbeerwah Art recently held their annual exhibition at the Tinbeerwah Hall and it was the biggest and best ever. Exhibition co-ordinator Jan Cooke said the group was so thankful to raise money for charity on the day.
“There was a steady stream of visitors from the time the doors opened at midday on the Friday and we sold 33 paintings and with artists’ donations, gold coin entry and our raffle we raised $2,000 which will be donated to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice in Doonan,” Jan said.
Winner of the Peoples Choice prize was Mary Zouglakis and Vivien Lawson won the Margaret Connolly Hangers Prize.
