THESE school holidays, Coolum is the premier location for free family-friendly entertainment with the ever-popular flicks in the park returning and the launch of the Coolum Creature Trail.

The new Coolum Creature Trail is located from Stumers Creek to Point Arkwright and is suitable for the whole family.

Families can download the Coolum Creature Trail map from www.visitcoolum.com.au and discover the best places to find and to spot all of the amazing creatures we have here in Coolum. Follow the trail and discover turtles, whales and water dragons, and search for the elusive Peregrine Falcon. Immerse yourself in nature and learn some new animal facts along the way!

Plus, for your chance to WIN a Chiggy’s Skateboarding voucher, get exploring and tag @VisitCoolum and use the hashtag #coolumcreatures on your Creature Trail journey on social media to be in with a chance to win. There’s one voucher to give away for each day of the school holidays.

When evening falls, head to Tickle Park and set up a picnic blanket for a FREE movie screening. Coolum Business and Tourism along with Visit Coolum are excited to present another season of Flicks in the Park to the Coolum community these school holidays, with a summer season to follow. The first screening is Zootopia on Saturday, September 25, with the next screening Big Hero 6 showing on Saturday, October 2.

Make sure to arrive early to pick your spot and there will also be live music and free face painting for the kids from 5 pm, with the film screening to commence as soon as the sun goes down – around 6:30 pm.
