Quota raises funds for Ovarian cancer research

President Cindy assisted by Ursula with Jess who drew the winning ticket for the quilt raffle.

Members of Quota Coolum Beach hosted a ‘Tea for Teal’ morning tea at the Coolum Beach Holiday Park on Friday May 7 with money raised to be donated to the Mater Foundation for research into ovarian cancer.

During the morning tea the ladies from Quota took the opportunity to draw the Mother’s Day quilt raffle made by club members. The lucky winner was Marg Lind from Cape Gloucester near Proserpine in Queensland. The ladies send a huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets. Money raised from the raffle will support the disadvantaged in our local community. The ladies form Quota would also like to extend a thank you to the generous travellers for their support and to Jason, Nicole, Elle and staff at the Coolum Beach Holiday Park for allowing them to have the morning tea in the camp kitchen.
