Proving once again just how much they like to hand over money, the Coolum Lions had their big cheque book at the ready recently and made two $2,000 donations to both the Marcoola and Mudjimba SLSC’s nipper programs.

The Coolum Lions greatly appreciate the nipper program, which provides young people the opportunity to learn surf safety as well as essential life skills, all whilst participating in healthy activities.

The official summer 26-27 lifesaving season recently commenced, and with that, most SLSC’s nipper programs. Coolum Lions have been proudly supporting the local community for 40 years, and a key part of what they do is fundraising via raffles at local establishments, which then allows them to give back to the local community.
