A BIG shout out to the boys from the Coolum State School Rugby League team who recently competed in a Sunshine Coast competition against many other local schools. The Coolum team was victorious and took out the top spot, which then saw them go on and qualify for the Southeast Queensland tournament, where they went up against some of Brisbane’s strongest teams. The Coolum boys held their own and put in a stellar performance, and won two out of four of their games.

The young players showed resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship and should be very proud of their efforts. A huge shout out to Mr Moody – the amazing PE teacher and rugby league coach at Coolum State School. His passion was instrumental in allowing the boys to excel, and they will all no doubt miss him as they move on to High School next year.
