Coolum surfing legend and ex-councillor Bruce Dunne took out the top spot in the Longboard Over 65 Men division at the Queensland State Championships at Alex Bluff recently.

The event saw the crowning of the Queensland Champions across various divisions, including kneeboard, longboard, shortboard and SUP.

Bruce, along with fellow finalist Blaise Griffin and other winners, will now represent Queensland at the Australian Longboard Titles on the Tweed Coast in NSW from July 24-30.
