Lions stars and Premiership Cup visits Coolum
THE JUNIOR Footy Stars visited Coolum Breakers HQ on Sunday, October 26, and hosted a training clinic and Q&A with Lions players Dayne Zorko and Sam Marshall, and they even brought along the 2025 AFL Premiership Cup, which the Brisbane Lions have won two years in a row now.
Junior Footy Stars is a Melbourne-based Junior Football Development company working with children and youth aged between 6-16 years. They provide high-quality, experienced coaches such as players for fun and hands-on training days across the country. The training clinics are all about having fun and developing skills
The Coolum Beach Breakers were thrilled that the event took place.
“Thanks to Junior Footy Stars for coming to Coolum HQ, it was a pleasure to facilitate your event and shout out to Last Drop Espresso and all our club volunteers for providing an awesome morning for everyone in attendance,” a Breakers spokesperson said.
This was the first time the program had ventured to the Sunshine Coast, and it’s hoped that it won’t be the last, with the team hoping to return in 2026. Keep an eye on the Breakers socials for further details.
The Breakers are also taking registrations for season 2026, and that information can be found via their website at www.coolumbreakers.com.au.
