Coolum Tennis Club Open Day
IT WAS a huge Easter Monday at the Coolum Tennis Club with the tennis-loving community and those interested in the game turning up for the ‘Open Tennis Party’.
The free day of all things tennis was literally an ace of a day, with the sun shining and lots of great community sporting spirit on display.
There was lots of friendly competition as well as a coaching clinic and special guest Dane Sweeny on the court.
Sunshine Coast Council Division 8 Cr Taylor Bunnag publicly praised the day.
“Cr Maria Suarez and I played in a Pickleball Ball match. Congratulations to Alex and the team for putting this event together. It’s wonderful to see the club in such great shape and have a clear direction going ahead.”
With a dedicated team of volunteers and community sponsors, the day was a huge success.
“Behind every great event is an even greater team, and a massive thank you to our incredible committee and volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring our Open Tennis Party to life,” a Coolum Tennis Club spokesperson said.
“From the early bump-in to the final pack-down, every detail was covered with true club spirit. Your hard work didn’t go unnoticed, and it absolutely paid off! The day was a huge success, and that’s because of the passion and dedication you all bring to our club.”
