THE COOLUM Netball Association will be able to aim for many goals with a funding windfall from the Coolum Lions. A cheque for $2,000 was presented to the team, which will go towards their campaign to compete at the State Age Championships, which will be held at Townsville in April 2026. Coolum Lions provided funds to help 50 of the Coolum Netball players with their travel costs.  

“This is an incredible opportunity for the girls to showcase their dedication and commitment to netball,” a Coolum Lions spokesperson said.
