THERE are some properties in Coolum that locals don’t need an address to recognise, and the windmill on Cinnamon Avenue is one of them. This quirky home could be yours, with the property going to auction on October 17.

Agent Joel Hood, who is selling the property, said that the owners liked having a talking point and are happy to have people come and see the property.

“If people want to come and see the home, they are welcome to, and we would love the community to come and view at an open or be here on auction day,” Joel said.

“Everyone who has viewed the property has been so impressed with how it’s been maintained – everything is in immaculate condition, and if someone wanted it for a holiday home they could work with what is here.”

“It’s time for the next family to enjoy this property,” Joel said.

As for the windmill, it just may end up being relocated if the new owner doesn’t want it.

The two blocks are being offered together, giving the property an unusually large footprint so close to the centre of town, and for many long-term locals, the sale is likely to pique their interest.
