Hear Life Clearly Again with Coolum Hearing Co.
Business Showcase
COOLUM HEARING CO.
PROUDLY locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Matthew and Cassandra Virgen, Coolum Hearing Co. has quickly established itself as a trusted provider of independent hearing healthcare within the Coolum and wider Sunshine Coast community.
As the only independently owned full-time hearing clinic in Coolum, the business offers a personalised alternative to larger corporate providers, with a focus on continuity of care, genuine relationships and tailored hearing solutions.
Whether it’s missing parts of a conversation, turning the television volume up or struggling to hear a conversation in a busy café, hearing loss can have a significant impact on everyday life.
The clinic provides a comprehensive range of hearing services, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and repairs, wax removal, custom earplugs, workplace audiometric testing, DVA hearing assessments and government-funded hearing services for eligible clients.
Leading the clinic is experienced clinician Matthew Virgen, who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role.
Throughout his career, Matthew has worked with some of Australia’s largest hearing providers, both as a clinician and trainer, and has contributed to projects across Europe and Asia. He has also served on the board of the Hearing Aid Audiology Society of Australia and received industry recognition for his contribution to hearing care.
Personalised care and tailored options are at the very heart of Coolum Hearing Co, and clients are guaranteed to see the same clinician at every appointment, ensuring a consistent approach and treatment plan tailored to their individual needs
Coolum Hearing Co. is not tied to any hearing aid manufacturer, allowing recommendations to be based solely on what is best for the client.
Mobile services are also available for those unable to attend the clinic, including home visits, aged care facilities and workplace assessments.
Workplace hearing testing has become increasingly important for businesses needing to meet workplace health and safety requirements, while custom earplugs are available for musicians, swimmers, shift workers and those working in noisy environments.
Whether you’re concerned about hearing loss, need a professional hearing assessment, or simply want expert advice from a local clinician you can trust, Coolum Hearing Co. offers a friendly, pressure-free environment where your hearing health comes first.
