After many weeks of meticulous painting, the beloved ‘Wave’ mural by local artist Owen Cavanagh has finally been lifted up to its permanent home, where it is safely out of reach of graffiti. The surf mural is visible from the Sunshine Motorway when heading north shortly after the Maroochy River bridge, near the Amateur Radio Station and old toll booth location. Make sure you look out for it the next time you are driving past.
