IT’S ONE of the best gifts one can buy for a friend or themselves, and every home should have a wall calendar. By purchasing a copy of the Coolum and North Shore Coast Care 2026 calendar, you will be helping with environmental advocacy.

Officially launched on Thursday, October 30, the calendar is a pictorial showcase of our region and sells for just $10.

Photographers featured in the calendar, as well as Coast Care supporters, and both Cr Maria Suarez and Cr Taylor Bunnag gathered at the Coolum Native Nursery in Yaroomba for the launch and to celebrate the 2026 calendar.

The calendar features many images taken by local artists, and the calendar committee had a hard task with some 1,000 images submitted! We can understand why, given how stunning our region is, it makes for some great photography.

The crowd of passionate environmentalists were also fortunate to have a guest speaker chat at the launch with Mandy from Sunshine Coast Council present. Mandy spoke about BushCare and the valuable contributions and noticeable difference that the volunteers make. Photos: Contributed
