Sportsman’s lunch raises funds for local groups

In conjunction with Coolum Lions Club, the Coolum Men’s Shed hosted their annual ‘Sportsman’s Lunch’ recently, with 140 guests enjoying lunch at the Coolum Beach Hotel with special VIP guests from the world of league and AFL.

Guests heard stories and anecdotes from former NRL player Travis Norton and Collingwood AFL player Tony Shaw and collectively raised $11,900, which will go towards projects undertaken by both clubs.
