In the previous edition of the Advertiser, we ran the story – ‘Brisa Canina –takes out top Under 18 Girls win’ and in that story we concluded that Brisa did not progress onto the team to represent Queensland at the Australian Junior titles. That information is not correct, and we are happy to say that Coolum’s Brisa Canina was selected to represent Queensland and will compete at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles in Margaret River, Western Australia, this November. We are sorry if this caused confusion and apologise for the mistake.
