LADIES FIESTA FOURS  

The annual Ladies Fiesta Fours was held on Wednesday, June 24, and it was once again a hotly contested day of lawn bowls with many entrants from across the region.

Conditions were perfect with the organisers, volunteers, greenkeepers and behind-the-scenes teams ensuring that the comp went ahead smoothly. Major sponsors Set Point Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Gregson and Weight Funeral Directors Noosaville were also on hand to show their support, and for the presentations.

RICHARDSON & WRENCH MEN’S 4’S CARNIVAL

The annual Men’s 4’s Carnival, which is sponsored by local Coolum Real Estate Richardson & Wrench, was held across the weekend of June 27-28.

The two days of play saw many enter the coveted and lucrative competition, and many also watched on from the sidelines. The hardworking greenkeepers did a stellar job in getting the greens tournament-ready despite the inclement weather in the lead-up.
