Vege Village Community Garden Peregian Beach

The green thumbs at the Veggie Village at Peregian Beach have been busy of late getting their plots ready for the cooler months, and the community garden will be hosting an autumn ‘Grow Your Best Autumn Garden Yet’ workshop on Saturday, March 21. If you are not sure what edibles to plant and you want to see your garden thrive, then come along to the workshop, which will be facilitated by ‘The Micro Gardener’, Anne Gibson.
Attendees will discover easy and effective ways to get the most from their garden. Whether you’re a new gardener or an old hand, there will be something for you to learn. The workshop will teach you how to supercharge your soil health before planting, spot and fix seasonal plant issues with a health check, choose the best crops to suit our local climate, grow and make your own DIY natural fertilisers, and how to create an effortless mini compost system right in your garden bed. The cost is just $15 for this two-hour event, and to RSVP or for more details, please call Ron on 0427 555 833
