Our members have been busy over the Christmas break, sewing on the red poppies that have been given to us and which will be used to make our ‘cascade of poppies’ for ANZAC Day 2026.

We sincerely thank all the craft organisations, our own local community groups, members, and their families and friends for sending in these handmade poppies. We now have approximately 2000 poppies and have nearly completed two whole panels.

We have more to add on to a third panel, and we hope to do a fourth by ANZAC Day, so keep knitting and crocheting. We are ever so thankful for everyone taking the time to contribute to this project.
